About this cafe
Iris Maid Cafe (IRIS, also known as 伊立斯) is a CutiVerse maid cafe in Taoyuan, near Taoyuan Motor Vehicles Station and Jianguo Junior High School. Dark wooden arches, red bench seating, wooden tables and warm lighting create a classic setting for a break from everyday bustle.
A drink, a song you have been listening to or a small moment from your day can start a conversation with a maid. You do not need to know anime or keep talking the whole time. Enjoy food, drinks, interactions and themed events at your own pace, and find a story you would like to continue on your next visit.
Before your visit to IRIS
Is IRIS right next to Taoyuan Station?
IRIS is at No. 95, Jiexin Street, near Fulin Park and Taoyuan Motor Vehicles Office. You will need an onward connection from Taoyuan Station: take a bus to the Motor Vehicles Office or a taxi to the store. Fulin Park, at the junction of Jieshou Road and Jiexin Street, is a useful landmark.

You do not need to prepare anime topics. Drinks, music you have been listening to, or how you found IRIS are all conversation starters. You can also ask a maid what she has been enjoying recently. Start with something that genuinely interests you.
How can I find out when a maid will be working?
Open the maid schedule, select IRIS and choose your date. If the same person also appears at MELO or stage events, double-check the location. A profile on the website does not mean that person is working at the Taoyuan store that day.
How is IRIS different from MELO in Taipei?
Both belong to CutiVerse. IRIS is in Taoyuan, with dark wooden arches, red benches and warm lighting. MELO is near Taipei Main Station, with a pink flower wall, a small stage and a Japanese little-devil-inspired style. Choose the city and atmosphere you prefer, then check where the maids you would like to meet are working.
Can minors or young children visit?
There is no age restriction for entry to MELO or IRIS. We recommend that minors discuss their plans and budget with a parent, and that young children visit with a parent or guardian.
Can I take photos and share my visit?
You may photograph food, the interior, yourself and companions who agree to be photographed. Please do not take your own photos of the maids; choose the store's instant-photo service instead. Avoid other guests and staff, including reflections in mirrors or glass, and keep walkways clear without disturbing other diners.
Can I record video, audio or livestream?
Please obtain the store's consent before recording video or audio, or livestreaming. Do not independently record maids, staff, other guests or their conversations; follow the agreed scope when permission is given. Media interviews, brand promotion and commercial shoots require advance discussion of purpose, date, group size and content. Personal accounts of your visit that follow the photo rules do not need a separate commercial-shoot application.
